Mini Bar Attendant

We are currently seeking a highly organised, detail orientated and supremely professional In Room Minibar Attendant to join our Room Service team.

The working hours for this role will be primarily 9am to 5pm however we’re looking for flexibility and availability for a range of shifts to support the wider team.

The on target earning potential for this role is £30,042 / annual salary based on a 37.5 hour contract - comprising a base salary of £25,542, plus a qualified estimate of £7,500 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards.

Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:

• Playing a crucial role in ensuring the highest levels of satisfaction for our guests and enhancing their overall experience during their stay with us
• Regularly inspecting, maintaining and restocking minibars in our guest bedrooms, swiftly restocking as required
• Rotating stock to ensure freshness and prevent waste, ensuring impeccable hygiene at all times.
• Monitoring and reporting any misuse or unexplained stock discrepancies
• Keeping accurate records of Mini Bar consumption, promptly and accurately relaying charges, making sure our guests are charged accurately
• You’ll be creating memorable moments through organising and setting up hotel amenities and third-party gifts for guests arriving into their room; there's lots of multitasking involved!
• Supporting our Room Service team, taking great pride in coordinating and serving delightful food and drinks to our guests in their rooms with warmth, professionalism and always a helpful approach
• Playing a significant part in making sure our Room Service experience runs without a hitch, and our service is smooth for each and every guest, including luxury dining across the estate or whilst they're enjoying one of our many country pursuits available within our Glorious Playground
• Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us 5 star in every way

The kind of person we're looking for:

• Ideally you have previous waiter and customer service experience, having a hugely positive attitude and approach are essential
• Working independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, as well as part of a multi-faceted team is second nature to you
• Your perspective and approach are always fresh; no matter how many times an issue has been presented to you, to your guest it’s the first time
• An early bird some days and a night owl others, you’ll be working flexibly during the week and weekends
• You want to be the best and work with the best, learning from the experts in our team and sharing your knowledge with us, always with an organised approach and a determination to exceed guest expectation
• Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
• You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
• A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail

• About gratuities service charge:

• Gratuities (tips) and service charge (an additional charge added to our room rates and services across the estate that is passed directly to our employees) are paid on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role
