Mini Bus Driver

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced mini Bus Driver to join our team. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations on time. This is a part-time position with competitive pay and benefits. We have 2 homes, one in Bournemouth and one in New Milton. Milage will be paid to travel to collect Mini Bus.

Responsibilities:
- Operate Mini Bus to transport residents with care staff on day trips one trip at each home a week, possibly more.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Maintain a clean and safe vehicle, conducting regular inspections and reporting any maintenance issues
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes, schedules

- Follow established routes and schedules, making adjustments as necessary to accommodate delays or changes
- Maintain accurate records of passenger counts, mileage, and fuel consumption

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license (CDL) with passenger endorsement
- Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks
- Ability to work flexible hours, be able to travel to collect van which may be at either home, for which you will be paid milage
- Must be able to pass a background check (DBS)

You must have a friendly personality and be happy to converse with our elderly residents. Making their day trips enjoyable.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 14 – 24 per week
