Minibus Driver (Zero-Hours)

Brighton College is seeking a Minibus Driver .This is a part time (Zero-Hours), permanent position. In return, you will receive a competitve salary of £13.56 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay.
About the Minibus Driver role:
The focus of this position is to carry pupils to and from the College safely, maintaining high driving standards, on-time, in accordance with the published schedule.
Key responsibilites as a Minibus Driver:
Driving College vehicles as required Carrying out pre and post journey vehicle checks Keeping the vehicle clean and tidy inside and outside Assisting and supervising passenger as necessary Any other reasonable management request
What we're looking for in our Minibus Driver:
The successful candidate will have experience in the following areas:
Excellent communication skills Good time management skills. Positive collaboration, with an ability to bring out the best in those around them An infectious "can do" attitude Possess a full, clean UK D1 Minibus licence Pass a driving assessment which will be held post-interview Be confident working with young people Possess a conscientious, approachable and flexible attitude toward working colleagues and the workplace Agree to attend a First Aid course Attend a mandatory driver medical assessment pre-employment and then annually thereafter
Hours of Work:
This is a term time (35 weeks) only appointment on a Zero Hour basis. The services you provide to the College will be on an ad-hoc basis. This means that whilst the College will try to give you as much notice as possible when offering work, there is no obligation on the part of the College to provide such work nor for you to accept any work offered.
Remuneration:
£13.56 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay. This work is offered on a fixed-term, hourly-paid basis in the first instance, after which there are opportunities for progression.
Holidays:
Holiday entitlement is included in the hourly pay rate for this role.
