Resourcing group have an exciting opportunity to join the leading FM & Real Estate company, on their British multinational oil and gas contract. My client is looking for a MobileRefrigeration & AC Engineer based in Basingstoke.

This job is part of the technical team and you would be responsible maintaining and repairing refrigeration equipment within a retail environment. You shall ensure the day to day delivery of planned and reactive maintenance tasks. This will include the supervision of specialist sub-contractors and ensuring all the sub-contractor paperwork is up to date.

Key Responsibilities

Proven experience working in refrigeration and familiarity of air conditioning systems to perform planned and reactive services, install, repair and maintenance in the retail sector.

Establish your own work schedule, receive tickets on PDA, close tickets with detailed commentary.

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues that may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.

Manage, rectify and record defects through the helpdesk to ensure SLA Timeframes are always met.

Review RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) and sub-contractor competencies before work permits are authorised. AP experience would be advantageous.

Support operational analysis of all engineering related performance metrics (KPIs).

Ensure compliance with Health and Safety requirements. Including regular hazard/ incident reporting.

Escalate any issue that would affect the availability, health and safety and security of the site.

Drive continuous improvement and innovation.

To respond to call-outs and cover emergencies as required. Willingness to work flexible hours.

What You'll Need;

A combination of experience and qualifications and certification; F Gas registered, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning City & Guilds 6187 (or equivalent). Recognised mechanical HVAC qualifications - Level 2 & 3.

Full clean UK Driving License held for minimum of 3 years.

Desirable PASMA/IPAF certified.

Good verbal communication skills at all levels with good written English.

Able to acquire and maintain sufficient knowledge of a building's operation and services.

Physically fit and able to carry tools and components by hand up to 20kg.

To co-operate readily, politely and amicably with client onsite and Company personnel.
