Working with the Facilities Management team to provide a safe and clean environment for all staff and public using the establishments which consist of offices and public spaces, the vacancies are permanent positions within Corporate Strategic Assets & Land.
Reporting to the Cleaning Team Leader and Senior Cleaning Team Leader.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following characteristics:
• Proven experience of undertaking cleaning tasks.
• To undertake the cleaning of designated areas to ensure that they are maintained in a clean and hygienic condition.
• To carry out a range of daily cleaning tasks, e.g. dusting, vacuuming, mopping and buffing, toilet cleaning, wiping down paintwork and partitions in line with the cleaning schedule for the location.
• Undertake duties to safe standards of work- including knowledge of Health and Safety and COSHH regulations
• Work mainly on your own, whilst being flexible to changing priorities
• Undertake any further training, relevant to the post to carry out a range of daily cleaning tasks, e.g. vacuuming, mopping
and buffing, in line with the cleaning schedule for the location.
