Mobile Fabric Engineer - Leeds - Salary £24,000 - £35,000 DOE
CBW are looking for an experienced Fabric Engineer to join a leading Facilities Company covering Leeds and the surrounding areas.
We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic tradespeople to join their growing engineering family, working in a challenging and diverse role where no two days are the same. Our skilled engineers provide mobile delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services across a variety of clients and industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out maintenance inspections in all aspects such as:
- Painting & Decorating
- Basic lighting
- Fixing Furniture
- Hanging Pictures & Shelves
- Maintain and update Log books
- Carry out respective fault finding and reporting
- Undertake all building fabric activities
- Build client relationships and report any defects at the time of site visit
- Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, keeping logs of inspections reports and remedial work.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience within a Maintenance / Facilities Management environment or similar role.
- holding relevant qualifications eg. time served apprenticeship, C&G or equivalent
- Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures and safe systems of working.
- Good verbal and written communication is important, including the ability to use a mobile device.
- Capability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights and in confined spaces. Good verbal and written communication and ability to use computers.
- Highly self motivated and solutions focussed with the ability to work without supervision but also enjoy working as part of a team.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
