Job Title: Mobile Heavy Plant Fitter

Location: Leicester, UK

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 45 hours per week

Salary - £36k - £40k DOE

Are you a skilled Heavy Plant Fitter with a passion for maintaining and repairing diggers, dumpers, excavators, and other heavy machinery? Do you thrive in a mobile role, working across different sites and environments? If so, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of Heavy Plant machinery, including diggers, dumpers, excavators, etc.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
• Carry out repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime and ensure equipment availability.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Heavy Plant Fitter.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Full UK driving license.
