Mobile Lead Support Worker

Hampshire

Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw), (and part time considered!) flexible hours

Pay 11.51 to 12.25 per hour ( 22,500 to 23,959 per annum) (pro rata) and great benefits including Health Cash Plan

As our Mobile Lead Support Worker, you?ll be at the heart of supporting our customers who have complex homelessness needs to develop their skills to live more independently in the community. Typical day as a Mobile Lead Support Worker (known by us as Coordinator)

  • You?ll be our ?mobile? Lead Support Worker, working across a variety of services in Hampshire, getting stuck into different projects. No two days are the same!
  • Creating support plans with your customers and coordinating our small team of Support Workers working to the plans.
  • We support customers with homelessness issues, mental health support needs and/or substance misuse.
  • Helping customers with daily living activities such as making meals, shopping, budgeting, maintaining their tenancy and moving onto independent accommodation.
  • Carrying out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews.
  • Cuppas, chats and catch ups. There?s no rushing from one customer to the next here! Plenty of time to collaborate with colleagues too.

You bring

  • Passion to support our customers to live their best life, working collaboratively with an eye for detail.
  • Experience of creating person-centred support plans and supporting colleagues in working to work to the plans.
  • Experience of coordinating and assessing customer referrals.
  • The ability to work?on your own initiative, remain?calm under pressure and have?a resilient approach.
  • To get from A to B, you?ll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that we?ll pay your mileage!

Our team

You?ll join Liz, our Manager and our CRT (Central Resourcing Team). Liz has been with Home Group for over 5 years now and has a reputation for her warmth and enthusiasm and being the bearer of cake and treats to team meetings. To ensure all of our services across Hampshire are supported, you could be working in Lymington one week, then Farnborough the next! So if you enjoy working in a variety of teams, getting to know different people this is the role for you.

Job details

  • We?ll discuss travel time and mileage at interview, and if you?d prefer to work part time. Our aim is for everyone to have a great work life balance whilst also meeting the needs of our busy services.
  • Where we?re flexible with you, we do need to meet the needs of our customers.
  • You?re able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, complete online learning and to collaborate with colleagues.
  • You?ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
