Permanent - Full time - Monday to Friday: Salary negotiable but circa £26,000 - £30,000

The Mobile Maintenance Technician will be responsible for carrying out basic maintenance activities across seven self-storage site. This role needs a person whois hands-on, proactive, and adaptable, a strong communicator, hardworking and has general high standards and pride in what they do.

Key Role Responsibilities:

The focus will be to maintain and improve the aesthetics and standardisation of the sites, to include:

• Repairing and inspecting items on each storage site on a regular basis.

• Preparing the ground and putting down new containers into designated positions (Forklift / FLT training provided)

• Repairing and filling potholes on the premises to ensure safe passage for customers and staff

• Installing, maintaining, and replacing solar lights/bulbs as required

• Ensuring the premises are free from weeds and unwanted vegetation

• Carrying-out various other maintenance and improvement tasks as agreed with the Head of Operations

• Ensure the forklift checks are carried out and report any faults that require attention.

• Driving a company vehicle to move between the seven sites.

• Ensuring the cleanliness of the company vehicle and reporting any issues or required maintenance for the vehicle.

• Ad hoc requests from time to time

We are looking for someone with previous experience in a similar role, or someone with the right hands-on skills to make a great all action maintenance person

You will have no more than 3 pts on your licence and be happy driving in the South West and being responsible (as above) for the 7 sites!
