Mobile Maintenance

We currently have an opportunity for a Mobile Maintenance/Handy Person to work across Manchester and the surrounding areas.
Job Details
- 6 Month Fixed Term Contract
- 40 hours per week - shifts can change to include evenings/weekends to suit business requirements (changes are discussed and planned prior to commencement)
- 28 days holidays per annum, including Bank holidays (pro-rata)
- Company Vehicle, fuel card and equipment supplied (work use only)
Position Overview
- Completing various paintwork, e.g. Fencing, signposts, Barriers, storage units
- Carpark surface maintenance, weeding, filling of potholes, litter and leaf removal
- Boundary maintenance; pruning bushes & trees, fencing repairs.
- Occasional carpentry, small brickwork
- Documenting visit reports on a handheld device
The successful candidate will be well-organised and confident with credible communication skills, readily able and willing to contribute at all levels. In addition, the individual will be versatile, intuitive, and professional with good judgement and integrity. Pro-active and responsive to changing needs of the business and demands of the customer, while remaining calm under pressure and self-motivated. The successful candidate will be reliable and well presented, giving a positive image of Euro Car Parks company values.
In addition, the following is needed;
• No formal qualifications are required but must be good with their hands (able to perform a variety of maintenance duties) essentially painting and have experience using power tools without supervision.
• Adept in handling preventative maintenance, basic repairs, cosmetic upkeep, grounds keeping and general odd jobs.
• A good understanding of health and safety processes in the workplace.
• Excellent communication skills with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
A full driving license is required.
The role will be subject to reference and DSB checks.
Salary: £25, 000 per annum
