Mobile Plant Fitter / Mechanical Technician

PLANT MECHANICAL ENGINEER / SERVICE ENGINEER REQUIRED FROM A HEAVY PROCESS OR PRODUCTION BACKGROUND TO UNDERTAKE MAINTENANCE AT A PRODUCTION SITE IN THE WASTE MANAGEMENT SECTOR

TITLE: Mobile Plant Fitter / Mechanical Engineer – Waste & Recycling

SALARY: £42-49,000 plus overtime at time and a half

LOCATION: Morley / Leeds area

HOURS: 45 per week on days, plus overtime inc. Saturdays as required 8am-12noon

You will have worked with large capital plant equipment in an industry such as: Quarry, Aggregates, Coal Mining, Waste Management, Aggregates Recycling, Scrap Metal, Steel, Foundry, Cement, Demolition, Production, Processing, Heavy Manufacturing, Plant Hire or similar

You may have been a Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Technician, Electrical or multi-skilled Mechanical Engineer, Plant Fitter, Service Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES: Mobile Plant Fitter / Maintenance Technician – Waste & Recycling

You will undertake reactive and planned maintenance to mobile and static plant equipment

You will ensure you work within safety policies ensuring you wear PPE

You will work in a range of processing equipment which may include Loading Shovels, Dumpers, Excavators, Powerscreens, Crushers, Conveyors

You may be required to assist in the commissioning of a brand new plant

EXPERIENCE: Mobile Plant Fitter / Mechanical Technician – Waste & Recycling

You will have worked on some of the following Loading Shovels, Dumpers, Excavators, Powerscreens, Crushers, Conveyors, Shredders, Balers etc.

Qualified Mechanical Engineer, ideally time-served

Any electrical multi-skilling a plus

You will have worked with large capital plant equipment in an industry such as: Quarry, Aggregates, Coal Mining, Waste Management, Aggregates Recycling, Scrap Metal, Demolition, Large Plant Hire or similar

You may have been a Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Technician, Electrical or multi-skilled Mechanical Engineer, Plant Fitter, Service Engineer

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £42,000.00-£49,000.00 per year
