PURPOSE
Mobile Plant Operators are directly responsible for the safe and proper operation and basic maintenance of any site machine in their control. To aid with the safe operation and delivery of all sectors within the Brice Aggregates group of businesses.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
· Operate Mobile plant with diligence and care, ensuring H&S parameters are strictly adhered to at all times.
· Perform daily equipment checks and record on the relevant documentation.
· Responsible for reporting any defects or concerns to the Quarry Manager without fail.
· Responsible for the cleaning of the working area in and out of the cab.
· Required to perform basic preventative maintenance tasks such as greasing and replenishing lubricants.
· Report any accident/incidents to the Quarry Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
· CPCS/MPQC/NPORS Certification desirable.
· Full training offered for the right person with a willingness to want to learn and succeed.
SKILLS
· Able to follow precise instructions.
· Enjoy practical and manual activities.
· The ability to understand, follow and apply policies, practices and operating procedures.
EXPERIENCE
· Experience of working in a Quarry environment.
· Mobile plant operation and maintenance.
· Previous experience of operating large Quarry Mobile Plant such as Loading Shovels, Excavators, Dump Trucks, Bulldozer, Roller & Tractors.
· Full driving Licence.

HOURS
· Day shift - 06:45 to 17:00
· Monday to Friday
