Job description

Overall purpose: ASEL Ltd provides integrated security solutions through the provision of technology products and human security resources. Intelligence & Deployment – ‘Turning data into intelligence-based business action’.

Intelligence and deployment are two key elements which underpin the operational delivery of the ASEL Ltd risk Model (ARM). As Operations Manager ARK you will be at the cutting edge of UK business crime reduction and intelligent crime management supplying the latest and most effective keyholding and alarm response services in the UK.

Main duties / key responsibilities:

Successfully deliver Keyholding and Alarm Response operations, personnel, and process within your allocated area.

Support a shared culture of continuous improvement and quality management.

Ensure all Alarm Response and Keyholding operations remain compliant with all data protection laws including UK GDPR.

Support delivery of the resource to risk (ARK) model for ASEL Ltd meeting all internal and customer expectations.

Maintain KPIs in line with individual targets.

Practice continual improvement and efficiency drives across the operation.

Assist to train new talent into the ARK based on operational requirements.

Ensure that all keys are kept secure at all times.

Maintain confidentiality of all client information and data.

Conduct mobile patrols and locks and unlocks as per you running order for the day.

Working relationships:

Internal: This role reports into the Mobile Operations Manager but will work collaboratively across all departments (especially roaming officer operations) to implement effective Keyholding and Alarm Response activities.

External: This role will be a critical friend to ASEL Ltd customers and staff.

Education / Qualifications / Training required:

Essential:

A good standard of general education is required to fulfil the requirements of the role.


An SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding license.


Full UK car driving licence.

Desirable:

A higher education qualification in an analytical field.

Previous work experience required:

Desirable

  • At least 2 years’ experience of delivering any of the following;
  • Working in an Alarm Response and Keyholding Environment
  • Delivering Alarm Response and Keyholding Services.

Knowledge and experience:

Essential:

  • Good IT skills Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, Microsoft Teams and Power BI application.

Desirable:

  • Can understand and apply process methodologies.
  • Proven ability of delivering tasks on time, and to spec.
  • A demonstrable ability to constantly improve systems, process’ and results.

Personal skills/behaviours/qualities:

Desirable:

  • A high degree of self-awareness and evidence of a structured personal/career plan.
  • A can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
  • An open, honest, professional, and friendly disposition with a keen eye to detail.
  • Good completer/finisher skills will be needed to ensure that projects are delivered to the required standard and on time.

  • Strong Leadership skills and the ability to drive a leader / leader culture
  • Flexible approach to work.

Location: Gateshead

Hours: Average 56 hours per week

Shifts: 12 Hour Shifts will include evenings and weekends
