Are you from a practical farming background and looking to try something new? This job would allow you to stay in the agricultural sector and use your knowledge and skills to provide a valuable service to farmers.
Your role would involve travelling from farm to farm, setting up and operating a Mobile Seed Plant, processing farm saved seed so that its ready to be drilled.
A real opportunity to establish yourself with a household name in the agricultural supply chain.
You will be responsible for planning your own workload and must be capable of working without supervision.
A full UK driving licence is required for this position, a HGV Class 1 licence would be desirable, but training can be provided if necessary.
The role:
- Extensive travel to farms in your region
- Operate the Seed Plant to produce high quality seed
- Interact with customers on site
- Perform basic Seed Plant maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of work completed
- Plan your workload
What you will have:
- Full UK driving licence (Essential)
- HGV Class 1 (Training can be provided if required)
- Willing to travel extensively
- Previous experience in an agricultural or grain handling role
