Salary – Up to £32,000 per annum
Location – Northwest London
Working Hours – Monday-Friday – 8:00am-5:00pm
Reporting Into – Engineering Manager
Tecrec are currently searching for an experienced Water Hygiene PPM Engineer to work for a business who is a rapidly expanding, London-based SME delivering mechanical and electrical services for both the public and private sector. They provide a variety of services from one off installations and servicing to capital investment schemes and planed preventative maintenance programs with an emergency call out service 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.
Key Responabilities
- The role requires a candidate who can drive and work across multi-sites (mobile nature).
- All works in this role will be in and around North London in a range of different types of buildings.
- including housing, commercial, sheltered housing and public buildings.
Duties include:
- Temperature taking and monitoring of hot and cold-water systems.
- Conduct cold water tank inspections / surveys.
- Take microbiological samples for analysis.
- Servicing, testing and maintenance of thermostatic mixing valves (TMV)
- Chlorination and disinfection of water systems
Qualifications & Experience
- Basic Legionella Awareness training
- Basic Asbestos Awareness training
- Minimum three years of experience working in legionella water monitoring on hot and cold.
- water systems.
THE PACKAGE
- Salary – Up to £32,000 per annum
- 22 days holidays + 1 day for each year of service up to 27 days (plus 8 bank holidays)
