Modern Foreign Languages Teacher Key Stage 3 – Key Stage 5

Supply Desk is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join our team. As a Modern Foreign Languages Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching languages to students across Key Stages 3 to 5, designing and delivering lessons that ignite a love of language and culture among our students

As a Modern Foreign language’s teacher:

• Gather student feedback on their preferred learning approaches and adapt teaching methods to meet their needs
• Teach a foreign language to students in Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5, designing engaging and challenging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles
• Consider students' prior learning and achievements to set realistic targets for future growth and improvement
• Establish a positive and focused learning environment by promoting good behaviour and using effective classroom management strategies
• Develop and plan lessons, create materials, assign homework, and write assessments as part of daily duties
• Conduct teaching duties in accordance with the school's curriculum plans and national standards
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and deliver the foreign language curriculum, ensuring a cohesive and effective learning experience for students

Requirements for the Role:

• Current valid DBS or the willingness to obtain one.
• Hold QTS / PGCE or the equivalent (Unqualified teachers are welcome to apply)
• Able to provide two years’ worth of employment references.
• Positive and enthusiastic approach to education.
• Fluent in Spanish and/or French
• Ability to commute to Marlow and the surrounding areas
