SalaryA Reading-based biotechnology company is seeking a Molecular Biologist with experience in molecular and protein profiling to join their team focused on the development of novel therapeutics. This is an excellent opportunity for an established research associate within industry to take the step into a Scientist-level role.
As a Molecular Biologist you will develop and conduct a range of assays including PCR, qPCR, Western blot, and ELISA, to support the R&D team in understanding target mechanisms. You will also be involved in general laboratory maintenance, including stock management and ensuring compliance with CL2 standards.
Requirements for this role include:
- BSc or MSc in relevant discipline;
- Proven experience in a relevant role, ideally within industry;
- Significant experience in a range of molecular biology techniques such as PCR, qPCR, ELISA, and Western blot;
- Experience in cell biology techniques would be an advantage.
