Mortgage Administrator

About the role
Working alongside a team of administrators and mortgage experts, you will be supporting clients with their mortgage and life insurance applications, seeing the process through from start to finish. You’ll be responsible for processing applications, liaising with estate agents, lenders, solicitors and clients daily, updating them on the progress of their application and assisting them wherever possible. This is a well-rounded and rewarding administration role, which offers the opportunity to work directly with clients and have a positive impact.

Alongside your client-facing duties, you’ll maintain internal systems and records, and assist with general admin tasks around the office, such as diary management, filing and office organisation.

About you
Ideally candidates will have previous mortgage or finance administration experience, however, we are open to candidates who have strong administration experience in other professional settings if they also have an ability and motivation to learn.

To be successful, candidates will also need to:

• Have an eye for detail, accuracy is a must!
• Have strong customer service skills, be confident and personable
• Be methodical and organised, able to follow established processes
• Have good ICT skills, confident with Microsoft packages
• Demonstrate an understanding of GDPR, data security and the importance of compliance
• Have great communication skills, able to communicate effectively both in writing and on the phone with a variety of stakeholders
• Work well in a small team, happy to get stuck in and help others when needed

This is an office-based role, working in Masterplan’s office in Tilehurst, Reading. Candidates must be happy to attend the office five days a week.
