Home Based Mortgage Administrator (Bristol Area) - BDM Recruitment (Ref: S1795MABMC)

BDM Recruitment is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Home Based Mortgage Administrator to join their established award winning client. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the mortgage application process, liaising with mortgage advisors, lenders, and clients to deliver a first-class customer experience.

About the Role:

As a Home-Based Mortgage Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Primarily work from home with the flexibility to manage your workload independently
  • Responsible for administering mortgage and protection applications from initial enquiry
  • Liaise with mortgage lenders and insurers to ensure applications progress efficiently
  • Assist Mortgage & Protection advisors in managing client relationships
  • Provide clients with regular updates and address non-advice related queries
  • Utilise specialist in-house systems for data input, case notes, and application status updates
  • Attend monthly team meetings at the Bath head office (within a 1-hour commute)

Key Skills & Experience:

As a home based Mortgage Administrator living in the Bristol or Bath area, you require:

  • A good understanding of mortgage and protection administration processes
  • Familiarity with house purchase/move-related services (surveys, conveyancing, estate agencies) is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively
  • Strong computer literacy and exceptional communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Results-oriented with a focus on exceeding client expectations
  • Confident, professional, and a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
