Main Responsibilities
• Ensure newly boarded loan are set up on internal system correctly.
• Liaise with those borrowers where you are the named contact to deal with their queries and resolve their issues.
• Standard primary service functions including but not limited to amending account details, processing insurance schedules, and setting up third party authorities.
• Work the loans that are approaching expiry.
• Ensure that enquiries for changes to borrower’s accounts are dealt with within mandated levels and in accordance with procedures.
• Ensure that requests for information are responded to accurately.
• Ensure all standards are achieved in line with client expectations of quality, productivity, and performance.
• Contribute to identification of improvement opportunities be influential in the finding continuous
• Improvement possibilities to enhance our service to our customers and clients.
• Assist with projects as defined by the Team Leader by meeting agreed deadlines and achieving specific objectives.
• Report any breaches to the Line Manager
• Working with in a FCA regulated environment working to the applicable rules and regulation.
• On a day-to-day basis you will communicate with customers primarily by receiving incoming and making outgoing calls to understand each borrower’s individual circumstances and discuss options
What we are looking for:
• Customer service & strong administration skills (you must be able to demonstrate a track record for high service levels and attention to detail)
• Minimum of Grade C in GCSE Mathematics and English, or equivalent
• Reasoning and Mathematical skills -in order to calculate affordability and assess circumstances.
• Attention to Detail - Recording of information must be accurate, factual, and professional.
• Comfortable working to tight deadlines, be adaptable and flexible within the role.
• A desire to learn and take on new systems and concepts quickly as well as critically evaluating where appropriate.
• Previous administration experience, ideally from an office setting
• Professional manner and ability to adapt to a variety of situations.
• Driven with ability to follow processes to a high standard.
