Mortgage Case Manager

Our client, a global leader within the financial services industry, is currently recruiting for a Mortgage Case Manager to join their team in Ipswich. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that pride themselves on providing a dedicated and trusted service to their clients.

The main focus of the role will be to administer commercial loans and provide specialist knowledge across all loan portfolios serviced by the Commercial Servicing team.

Key Duties:

• Understand the terms and conditions of a commercial loan, so that they may be clearly explained to and met by the borrower.
• Ensure information relating to borrowers and their loans is current, accurate and updated in accordance with procedures.
• Receive and resolve loan enquiries from borrowers and their representatives.
• Liaise professionally with third-party advisors.
• Process requests for redemption statements in a prompt and timely manner and ensure that upon receipt of required funds the loan security is released.
• Review, calculate and process financial transactions in the system.
• Review loan documentation and information provided by borrowers.
• Review borrower financial accounts and identify any issues, concerns or risks to the lender.
• Accurately report any highlighted risks or concerns proactively and in a professional manner and making recommendations to client as necessary.

Skills & Experienced Required:

• Knowledge of commercial mortgage lending and specialist finance in the UK.
• Understanding of commercial mortgage loan documentation.
• Good understanding of the UK property and lending markets.
• CeMap Qualification.
• Cert BB&C or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate at all levels.
• Ability to organise workload to meet deadlines and organisational requirements.
