Job Description:

We are recruiting for a highly motivated and experienced Mortgage Collection Advisor to join a fantastic mortgage company. As a Mortgage Collection Advisor, you will be responsible for proactively contacting borrowers at various stages of arrears in order to support them in getting up to date with their repayments and agreeing on tailored solutions with them.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively contact borrowers at various stages of arrears in order to support them in getting up to date with their repayments and agreeing on tailored solutions with them.
• Be accountable for overseeing the management of borrowers in pre/early and actual arrears.
• Take payments from customers, including setting up Direct Debit instructions.
• Accurately record events onto the account administration systems.
• Respond to customer queries in the form of free format letters where appropriate.
• Effectively negotiate arrangements offered using influencing and negotiation techniques.
• Discuss information to assess customer circumstances
• Explore customer income and expenditure information.
