Professional Contractor Mortgages is a specialist mortgage brokerage based in Whiteley. Our mission is to make mortgages more affordable and accessible to the UK contractor and freelancer community. We have been instrumental in changing the parameters of the contractor mortgage market by pushing boundaries to make the market more competitive and pass on the benefits to our clients. Our founder, who has been a contractor, understands the frustrations that exist in the market and helped to develop bespoke underwriting with high street lenders so that contractor income would be assessed fairly.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mortgage Consultant. The Mortgage Consultant will be responsible for working with clients to provide mortgage solutions. Client service is our top priority and activities will include, determining financial status, evaluating credit history, speaking with underwriters, BDM's and processing mortgage applications. The Mortgage Consultant will be fully supported with administration and all leads will be provided.
Qualifications
- Mortgage Industry and Mortgage Lending skills would be beneficial
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in the mortgage industry is preferred
- Professional certification, such as CeMAP or equivalent, is essential
- Applications from those with CeMAP but not CAS status are welcomed
Basic salary is between £23k - £30k dependant on experience with an OTE of £65k
