We are a national mortgage broker with our head office located in Rotherham and we are looking for an apprentice to join our team! In return you will receive excellent training and the opportunity to become a full time mortgage advisor.
As a Mortgage Customer Support Apprentice you will be joining an admin team of nine people. The successful candidate will learn each area of the house buying process to help
move the clients in to their new home as smoothly as possible.
The key responsibilities will be -
Answering the phones in a polite manner and dealing with the query as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Dealing with incoming and outgoing post with care, working alongside the mortgage adviser to process the client’s mortgage application and speaking to the relevant parties to
ensure the application is offered in the quickest time possible.
Providing builders or estate agents with updates when requested and being on top of
chasing for exchange and completion to ensure the insurance team can commence
any policies required in a timely manner.
Having excellent communication skills, being able to comminute well over phone, email and in person with all parties involved in the house buying process.

Training Provided
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. Mortgage Advice Bureau will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Customer Service Specialist Level 3 apprenticeship standard, which includes:
- Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
- Customer Service Specialist Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
- Functional skills in Maths and English if required
This will be delivered through Mortgage Advice Bureaus dedicated training provider, Realise.
