Remuneration:

  • Basic Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
  • Company Car or Allowance
  • Financial Guarantees: Up to £75,000 for 6 months

Overview:

Join a rapidly expanding, nationally recognised mortgage brokerage firm as a Mortgage Sales Manager. We are on the hunt for an adept individual to oversee an established team of 7-10 home-based, qualified mortgage brokers. Your responsibility will extend to nurturing this team and further expanding it by recruiting seasoned mortgage advisors from Northeast England and Scotland.

Main Duties:

  • Operate remotely as the Mortgage Sales Manager, providing oversight and mentorship to 7-10 seasoned, whole-of-market mortgage and protection brokers.
  • Collaborate closely with the Financial Services Director to offer guidance, coaching, and support to the existing team, ensuring they meet personal and business objectives.
  • Proactively recruit additional mortgage advisors from Northeast England and Scotland using various channels, including social media, dedicated recruitment teams, referrals, and other suitable means.
  • Conduct regular observations, one-on-one sessions, and analyse KPIs to assess and guide brokers towards achieving their targets.
  • Provide consistent business guidance and support to the team, fostering a culture of excellence and achievement.

Key Skills:

  • Proven track record: A minimum of 5 years' experience as a successful Mortgage Sales Manager, with demonstrable achievements in team leadership and performance improvement.
  • Mortgage expertise: Full mortgage qualification and a deep understanding of the whole-of-market mortgage and protection landscape.
  • Leadership skills: Exceptional ability to motivate, coach, and mentor individuals to achieve their full potential.
  • Recruitment savvy: Proven talent in identifying, attracting, and onboarding top-tier mortgage professionals.
  • Analytical mind: Strong data analysis and KPI tracking skills to measure individual and team performance.
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to build rapport with colleagues, clients, and brokers.
  • Self-motivation and drive: A proactive and results-oriented approach with a passion for exceeding targets.
  • Clean credit history, full UK driving license, and no criminal convictions.
