MOT Administrator

Salford Van Hire Limited are one of the country’s leading vehicle rental and contract hire companies who have been trading for over 55 years and due to our continued expansion, and the opening of our own in house ATF lanes, we are looking to recruit an additional ‘MOT Administrator’ to complement our existing and experienced team, the successful candidate will be based within our busy Maintenance Department at our Manchester offices.

The ideal candidate will:

· Have experience from within this field and be familiar with DVSA and HGV vehicle testing rules and regulations

· Be a good communicator, both verbally and written

· Have the ability to maintain concentration whilst working within a busy environment, be methodical in approach and have an eye for detail

· Have a good understanding of Excel and other Microsoft software

· Be a self-motivated excellent timekeeper who is well organised and has a willingness to learn and apply past experience to better complete given tasks by following the correct procedures and processes

Key duties and responsibilities are to include, but are not limited to:

· Ensuring all vehicles on fleet are scheduled for MOT at the correct time

· Answering telephone calls and emails

· Completing daily checks for various systems

· Keeping track of MOT bookings and costs

· To continually strive to build and maintain relationships with both customers and suppliers

· Liaison with DVSA with regards to vehicle testing

Working days are Monday to Friday

Working hours are split shift between the hours of 8am and 6pm, week 1 is 8am to 4pm and then week 2 is 10am to 6pm – rotating on a weekly basis

Pay: £24,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
