Duties:
- Conduct MOT tests on vehicles in accordance with the relevant regulations and guidelines
- Inspect vehicles for safety and emissions compliance
- Identify and document any defects or issues with the vehicles
- Perform necessary repairs or maintenance to ensure vehicles meet the required standards
- Keep accurate records of all tests conducted and results obtained
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining test results and any necessary repairs or maintenance
Skills:
- Mechanical knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of vehicle mechanics and systems
- Hand tools: Proficient in using a variety of hand tools for vehicle inspections and repairs
- Heavy lifting: Ability to lift heavy equipment or parts as needed during inspections and repairs
- Power tools: Familiarity with power tools used for more complex repairs or maintenance
