Mot Tester Mechanic

MOT Tester/ Mechanic Required.

Pyramid are currently looking for an MOT Tester/Mechanic for our client based in Reading, Berkshire.

Full time - Monday - Friday

8am - 5pm (Early finish on Friday)

Duties:

- Conduct MOT tests on vehicles in accordance with DSVA testing requirements
- Inspect vehicles for safety, roadworthiness, and compliance with emissions standards
- Use diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and rectify faults or issues
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and efficiently
- Provide clear and concise explanations to customers regarding test results and any necessary repairs or maintenance

Skills:

- Minimum of 2 years experience

- Proficient in using power tools for vehicle inspections and repairs
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems
- Skilled in using hand tools for various tasks
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for vehicle maintenance and repairs
