About the Role:
Think FE is excited to collaborate with Windsor Forest College Group in their search for a passionate and skilled Motor Vehicle Lecturer. This full-time role, based across two colleges; Berkshire college of Agriculture in Maidenhead, and Langley college in Langley. This is a prime opportunity for individuals keen on making a significant impact in Motor Vehicle education.
What is required?
- You will need a minimum Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle studies.
- Experience teaching would be a significant advantage, although absolutely not essential. The college are willing to train the right person, including funding and supporting them to gain a Teaching Qualification
- For the top end of the salary scale you will need a Level 5 teaching qualification as well as QTS/QTLS status
- If you have an assessor qualification i.e. A1/ D33/D35 etc. this would also be highly advantageous although by no means essential
- You will need a minimum of grade 4/C in GCSE Maths and English
- In possession of an enhanced DBS including the child barred list, or willingness to undertake
Role Responsibilities:
- You will be delivering dynamic and effective Motor Vehicle lessons to students studying up to level 3
- Assessing and supporting student learning needs.
- Contributing to curriculum development and teaching strategies as well as resource development
- Salary of GBP30,000 - GBP44,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
