We are currently representing a well-established Further Education college based in the Birmingham region. Looking to build on their department with a specialist individual to work as a lecturer within their Motor Vehicle department.

Main Function:
Your primary focus will be to deliver quality teaching, coaching and development to employed apprentices at Level 1 & 2. Students aged 16-19.
This role does not require any formal teaching qualifications, but anyone with teaching qualifications will be eligible to achieve the "qualified lecturer" salary banding at £29,000-£44,000.
This role requires someone with a background in Light Vehicle (LGV) but will be open to speaking to specialists with a background in HGV if they are comfortable in transferring their expertise to LGV. You must have a minimum of a Level 3 industry Motor Vehicle qualification to qualify for this role.
You will be responsible for the delivery of off the job training at the college campus from induction through to End Point Assessment, making sure that all training and development is completed in line with Individual Learning Plans and ensuring progress is made and recorded.
As a Lecturer, you will be responsible for the progress, and timely achievement of an apprentice's learning journey.
