Salary: Basic Salary between £30,282-£41,097 (depending on experience and qualifications) + opportunity to earn up to £16,000 bonus (annually)

Our client is an automotive retailer representing prestigious car Brands, they have a total of 30 businesses providing sales, service and accident repair services across Sussex, Surrey, Kent and Hampshire.
Established since 1931, they are a successful and progressive third generation family owned business.
They are now actively looking to recruit for a Qualified Vehicle Technician for their premium and luxury dealership in Basingstoke. They are happy to consider Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4 qualified Vehicle Technicians / Mechanics.
Key Responsibilities
- Using diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach, ensure vehicle faults are diagnosed and rectified. Meet with customers to identify and clearly understand problems as and when required.
- Ensure full understanding of latest technology introduced on the vehicle range and how to diagnose and repair faults on them.
- Carry out diagnosis, repairs and servicing to the highest standards and to the appropriate specification.
- Ensure all work is carried out observing safe working practices of self and others.
- Liaise and seek advice from colleagues and supervisors in situations that are over and above work specified.
- Check level and quality of work through use of diagnostic equipment and road-testing vehicles after work has been carried out. Liaise with Service Advisor.
- Complete relevant service documentation (job sheets, PDI’s, service reports) in line with brand standards, warranty and site requirements.
- Complete vehicle health checks
- Ensure that workshop housekeeping standards are always maintained including the use of special and personal tools.
Essential Skills & Requirements
- Relevant Level 3 City & Guilds, BTEC or NVQ accreditation
- Competency in numeracy, literacy and IT.
- Energy and enthusiasm.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Smart appearance.
Our client will also consider Level 2 qualified Technicians and also Diagnostic and Level 4 qualified Technicians, they salaries for these roles will vary depending on qualifications and experience.
