Motor Vehicle Technician (Maintenance)
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: CC BS Scale 5 (£24,695.84 - £26,066.56) Dependent on qualifications and experience Salary includes 4% increase which will be effective from 1st August 2024

An exciting opportunity has become available in the Motor Vehicle department at Coventry College. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, diligent and inspiring Motor Vehicle Technician with the vision, commitment and determination to continue raising standards for all our learners. Successful applicants will ideally have prior experience working within education settings and be able to demonstrate their knowledge, skills and behaviours are compatible with this job role.
As a Motor Vehicle Technician, you should:
- Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or demonstrable experience working at this level in industry)
You should also be able to demonstrate:
- Recent experience of working in a Motor Vehicle environment
- Experience of using Motor Vehicle equipment
- Experience of carrying out risk assessments
- Experience of supporting others on the safe use of relevant equipment
