MRF Engineering Manager

As an MRF Engineering Manager, you'll oversee the performance of the Materials Recovery Facility (MRF), focusing on optimising operations and maintenance. This involves setting objectives, developing plans, and conducting performance reviews. You'll establish and manage a maintenance program emphasizing preventive practices and efficient resource utilization. Analysing data, preparing reports, and making recommendations will be key to improving plant operations. Supporting staff training and ensuring safety protocols are followed are also part of your responsibilities. Regular communication with teams and other departments will ensure smooth operations and timely problem-solving. Additionally, you'll lead projects to enhance efficiency and reduce costs while securing necessary supply agreements. Your efforts will contribute to the MRF's success in meeting targets and maintaining operational excellence across multiple sites.

Hours of Work: Full Time, Permanent, 45 hours per week

MRF Engineering Manager Requirements:

* Experience with a MRF engineering background (Essential)
* Electrical & Mechanical knowledge and Qualifications (Essential)
* Project management experience is an advantage.
* H&S IOSH (as a minimum) qualification is required.
* Strong inter-personal skills
* Flexible
* Welding skills is essential.
* MEWPS certification is an advantage.
* Forklift license is an advantage
* First Aid at work qualification is advantage
