MRI Appointments Clerk.
A vacancy has arisen for an MRI appointments clerk to work within the MRI Department. We scan around 38,000 patients every year, and need someone to help with booking and appointing these patients. Duties include meeting and greeting patients, booking of appointments, handling telephone calls, use of the Radiology Information System and PAS system, and other clerical duties. Other duties include assisting the radiographers, and providing assistance to our patients in a caring and empathetic manner.
This is a small and dedicated team, with close working relationships with Radiographers, Radiologists and Cardiologists. A flexible approach to the working day is essential, along with a fantastic team working approach.
Main duties of the job:
The provision of effective support to all grades of staff within Radiography through the efficient and accurate booking of appointments, maintenance of waiting lists, reception of patients, management of electronic records and the provision of general administrative services for a variety of imaging procedures, Including Reception duties.
