About The Team & Role

 

The Multi-agency Forum Co-ordinator (MAFCo) will join the existing Multi-Agency Support Service who’s role it is to support the development and delivery of Gloucestershire's Education facing form's that aim to identify and reduce educational barriers through a collaborative and systemic approach. The new position has been made available as part of Gloucestershire County Councils commitment to ensure children and young people across the county are supported to access appropriate education provision. The new role will support existing MAFCo's to deliver against it's multi-agency priorities outlines in the Inclusion and SEND strategies (2222-2025).

 

As a Multi-Agency Forum Co-ordinator you’ll work with Schools and Early Intervention partners including health colleagues, and the voluntary sector, playing an instrumental role in identifying and meeting needs and then tracking outcomes for young people accessing forum support. The role will include supporting the Team Around the Locality Cluster, Intervention Circle, Multi-Agency Navigation Hub and arranging Alternative Education Provision. 

 

About You 

 

The successful applicant will have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a broad selection of stakeholders across organisational boundaries. An organised and methodical approach to tasks will be imperative but must be complimented in equal measure with an ability to think outside of the box when creative solutions are needed to achieve the best outcomes for Children/ Young People and Families.
