Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to customers. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a delivery van or truck to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload items from the vehicle in a timely and efficient manner
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in accordance with customer requirements
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders before leaving the warehouse
- Collect payments from customers, if required
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs to the supervisor
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Commercial driving experience is preferred
- Familiarity with local roads and routes
- Ability to navigate using GPS or other navigation systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Note: This is a paid position, as all positions must be compensated.

Pay: £8.50-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
