The Role of a Merchant Cover Manager

As a Merchant Manager in our Cricklewood and Camden branches, you'll be covering our concession area independently, where you’ll develop strong customer relationships in your store offering hire solutions with an array of top-tier products and equipment across all building service sectors. You'll also be supporting with booking in deliveries and moving and testing equipment before and after hire (full training will be provided).

What do you need to succeed as a Merchant Cover Manager?

  • Friendly telephone manner
  • Committed to delivering exceptional customer service and eager to assist
  • Proficient in meeting and exceeding performance targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Proactive and positive outlook, consistently seeking solutions
  • Enthusiastic about continuous learning and expanding product expertise
  • Demonstrates effective leadership abilities
  • Holds a valid driver's license (You will need to operate a van.)

What does the Merchant Cover Manager role involve?

  • Covering multiple sites, you will drive the strategy at a regional level, ensuring revenue growth, profitability and customer loyalty!
  • You will execute sales plans, raising new orders and developing customer pipelines
  • You'll champion all services promoting cross selling opportunity
  • You will drive commerciality and local business building plans within the sites to review KPI performance and create supporting action where required
  • You will act commercially, explore new opportunities, income streams and routes to market! Spotting sales opportunities at every step!
  • You will be involved in operational elements such as stock level checks and performing admin controls for your stores!
  • You will promote a customer-centric culture - our customers are at the heart of everything we do
  • You will also provide strong leadership to your team, engaging your colleagues to ensure high performance culture

Similar Working Pattern:

Monday to Friday 7:30am until 16:30pm Saturday 8:00am until 12:00pm
(with an accumulative extra day off every two weeks).
