Job description

Multi site HRBP | Hospitality | On-site | Central London.

This role involves working closely with the senior leadership team to develop and implement HR strategies. You will be responsible for all aspects of the employee life cycle including recruitment, on boarding, performance management and employee relations.

You will have a HR background working in Hospitality, Leisure or Retail, supporting a couple of sites.

The role will report into the Head of HR operations and support 3 hotels in embedding the company’s vision and behaviours. You will provide professional HR guidance and support to relevant internal client groups to add value and create an excellent place to work. You will also be the primary HR contact for the hotels/support offices to ensure the broader organisational strategies align with local business plans.

About the role

  •  Support Managers to formulate development improvement plans for individuals.
  • To coach managers to perform development and recognition activities where required.
  • Offer advice and support in decisions regarding structures/roles to ensure that hotel structures reflect business levels and maximise efficiencies.
  • Be an advocate of employee engagement as a means of improving performance and customer service.
  • Take ownership of the talent agenda within the business unit/hotel
  • Manage the succession planning framework to ensure it is kept up to date.
  • Make sure that managers have a good understanding of the company's recruitment process.
  • Provide advice on complex employee relations cases in collaboration with line management.
  • Manage and control expenditure with regards to costs and business performance within agreed budgets to company requirements.
  • Be committed to continuous training and development. This includes contributing to the performance appraisal process, succession planning, and communication meetings.

Your background

  • Solid HR background at BP level
  • Experience of working in hospitality, leisure or retail in the UK in a HR role
  • Commercial and able to persuade and influence to achieve impact.
  • Can build partnerships with hotel teams, providing information and coaching/education or training where required.
  • Naturally curious and always looking externally for best practice ideas and opportunities.
  • Working knowledge of all HR areas
