As a locksmith, you are responsible for the install, repair, and maintenance of locks across the site, undertaking new, Reactive or Planned tasks as part of a highly skilled maintenance support function within the estate.
Your duties will also include, rebuilding and servicing of mechanical or electrical locking devices using hand tools and specialist equipment, as well as cutting of new or duplicate keys using key cutting machinery. This means that you will need to understand safe systems of work and must be able to ensure that all areas of personal responsibility adopt and utilise ADSL QHSE policies and procedures.
Proven experience of working as a Locksmith and in a maintenance environment will both be essential and desirable to be successful in this role and you should be able to work as part of a team to deliver an efficient and effective service to the client, customer, and stakeholders.
In addition, you should be skilled enough to carry out such responsibilities as disassembling locks, such as padlocks, safe locks, and door locks without immediate supervision and in the most efficient and economical manner.

You should have a fully valid UK driving licence and should have completed a course from British Locksmith Institute with diverse experience in the Locksmith field and of Industrial, Commercial, and Domestic building services.
A Master Locksmith Institute membership, experience in Carpentry and Health & Safety Training are also desirable to have but not so essential for this role.
Salary: £29,000 per annum
Location: Tidworth/Bulford
