Multi-Skilled Gold card Electrician
One Facility Ltd is a facilities management company based in Hertfordshire with a varied client base, and are looking for a multi-skilled electrician to join our team.
Key responsibilities of the Multi-Skilled Electrician:
Working alone with minimum supervision or within a small team to carry out planned and reactive maintenance of electrical systems and associated plant/equipment installed throughout our client sites and portfolios;
Assisting in the planning of work, ensure that tasks are carried out within cost and time targets, and maintain accurate records of any work carried out;
Supporting and assisting any other team members as needed;
Reviewing risk assessments and method statements to ensure they are to an acceptable standard prior to allowing work to be undertaken on the electrical system;
Following site/contract maintenance and management processes and notify management of any defects on equipments or systems;
Integrating and communicating effectively with other trade staff and specialist contractors.
All client sites are within a 30 mile radius of our operational office base in SG2.
Hours of work will be 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday.
Overtime available.
The ideal candidate for the role of Multi-Skilled Electrician will have:
Minimum of City & Guilds Electrical Installations or equivalent and City & Guilds 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regs or equivalent (required);
Be capable of holding a limited QS role (NICEIC accredited company)
Experience in electrical building services;
Knowledge and demonstrable understanding of Electrical Systems and their interaction within the wider building services engineering systems;
Varied work experience within the engineering background;
Excellent customer service and communication skills;
Ability to show examples of using initiative and judgement to resolve problems;
Ability to obtain security clearance as per client requirements;
A valid UK driving licence;
IOSH or equivalent H&S training is preferred.
