Our client, a leader in their field are looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their team. You must have both mechanical and electrical skills within a food Manufacturing / FMCG environment. You will be knowledgeable of Food Safety standards, Health & Safety standards and possess strong IT/Computer skills as well as experience of working with a wide variety of varying machinery and equipment.
Multi Skilled Engineer – The Rewards
Shift pattern (41 hours per week)
Week 1: 1800 – 0600 Sunday to Tuesday, 0600 – 1400 Saturday
Week 2: 0600 – 1800 Monday to Tuesday, 1800 – 0600 Wednesday to Thursday
Week 3: 0600 – 1800 Wednesday to Thursday, 0600 – 1500 Friday

- HNC / HND Qualification
- HACCP (training can be provided)
- Health & Safety IOSH/NEBOSH
- Metal Detection training (training can be provided)
- PLC programming skills
- Flow wrapper experience
- Bag former experience
- Ensure that the reactive work that is completed is done to a standard that maintains Quality and does not increase risk to contamination.
- Undertake works orders and take direction from the Asset Care Lead Engineer.
- Ensure that all PPM’s are completed and any risks to this completion escalated to the Asset Care Lead Engineer.
- Work with the Asset Care Lead Engineer in optimising and critiquing the CMMS system and to drop out none value adding tasks.
- Ensure all company H&S policies are implemented and maintained.
- Audit the contractor control policy, ensuring full adherence to site policies and procedures.
- Ensure all relevant data is submitted into the CMMS system.
