SalaryScantec are working in partnership with a fantastic FMCG Food Manufacturer in Sheffield to assist them in recruiting a Multi Skilled Engineer with a Mechanical Bias.

Shifts:
This is working a 4on, 4off pattern
6am-6pm / 6pm-6am, 2x days, 2x nights.
Multi Skilled Engineer - Brief summary of responsibilities:
- Continuous development of knowledge and familiarity with the engineering requirements of the site process systems and machinery
- Work as an active part of a skilled cross functional planned maintenance team
- Ensure correct Health & Safety, Food Safety and Hygiene standards are adhered to at all times
- Ensure a fast and effective response especially under breakdown conditions
- Quickly diagnose faults and take corrective action
- Actively participate in a Continuous Improvement culture throughout the site, constantly identifying opportunities to improve efficiency's and reduce waste
- Ensure planned maintenance work is completed to strict schedules, and constantly look for improvements that will ensure reliability of equipment is improved
- Ensure good working practices are adhered to throughout
- Work on various projects including installation and modifications to plant and equipment.
Required skills and experience:
Ideally you'll be an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer with the appropriate engineering quals. Experience within a fast paced Manufacturing environment is essential. You'll need strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
