Working Hours: Monday - Friday - 08 30 - 40 hours per week

Location: Scotland North (Preferably based in IV with regular travel to PH and occasional travel to AB and KW)

Atalian Servest is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join our passionate and driven team in the North of Scotland on a full-time basis!

Summary of the Role:

To provide a technical engineering & general building support service, with the minimum of supervision, to Atalian Servest FM clients in respect of mechanical & electrical servicing, repairs, maintenance and installation and general handyman duties. The candidate will additionally be required to undertake the service and maintenance of other assets / trades were deemed competent and qualified to do so.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• To undertake PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are met.
• To produce accurate documentation as required and keep up-to-date records of statutory inspections.
• Undertake minor quoted works from the initial outset, through installation to completion as required whilst completing all required test certification.
• To ensure that equipment operates to specified performance criteria.
• To provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction.
• To evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out, including completing required documents and paperwork.
• To take a pro-active approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management and FM helpdesk as necessary.
• To be fully aware of contractual requirements and customer needs at all times.
• Working in a safe manner at all times, complying with current Health & Safety legislation and Servest FM H&S policy.

About You:

• Qualified Electrician, City & Guilds 2330 & 2391 or NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition.
• NVQ or City & Guilds in the following; gas/plumbing/air con/mechanical services - desired.
• Previous experience working within facilities management and working with all types of Air Conditioning (spilt systems, VRV systems, Close control systems & Chillers) desired.
• Experience working within Facilities Management / Building Services.
• Good team member with excellent communications skills with all levels of the workforce.
• Sound knowledge of understanding and developing safety documentation.
• First Aid.
• CSCS Skills card or equivalent qualification.
