The Role: As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the heart of our client's operations. Your focus will be on a mix of mechanical engineering complemented by electrical responsibilities. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will collaborate with a well-established team of engineers who share your passion for excellence and dedication to achieving exceptional results.

Working Hours: This is a Monday to Friday role, working the night shift from Midnight to 08:00. As you would expect from a role involving unsociable hours, our client offers a highly competitive salary, which will be dependent on your experience, qualifications, and the value you bring to the team. Location: This incredible opportunity is based in Newquay, a beautiful coastal town in Cornwall, renowned for its picturesque landscapes and vibrant community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery.
• Participating in planned and reactive maintenance to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Troubleshooting issues and implementing effective solutions to optimize production processes.
• Collaborating with the engineering team to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adhering to safety protocols and contributing to a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Possessing the BS-th Edition in Electrical Regulations is essential.
• Ideally having previous experience working in a production environment.
• Holding an engineering qualification will be highly advantageous.
• Demonstrating a strong mechanical aptitude and a good understanding of electrical systems.
• Having a proactive and positive attitude, with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Being a team player with effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
