Are you a Mechanical Engineer with a background in manufacturing or production that is looking for an exciting new opportunity where you can progress your career while receiving industry leading training and a competitive salary package?

On offer is a role to join a successful team, where you will have the chance to display your technical skills. You will be performing both electrical and mechanical tasks such as maintenance, repairs, fault finding and procedures to solve problems.

This Company have been established for over 50 years, they are a world leading manufacturer and supplier of optical components for scientific equipment used for chemical analysis. They distribute to over 90 countries around the world and have built a strong reputation within their industry.

This role would suit a Multi Skilled Engineer that has experience in manufacturing or scientific engineering looking to play a key role at a long standing company where your hard work will be recognised and you can develop your skills to progress through the company.

The Role:

• Working on single and 3 phase machinery
• Maintenance and mechanical repairs
• Machine operation including manual lathe work, milling and drilling
• Planning Scheduled maintenance and responding to breakdowns
• Monday to Friday

The Person:

• Experience with mechanical and electrical maintenance in a manufacturing/production
• Proven experience with electrical maintenance including installation, repair and testing.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
