The role
As a Multi Skilled Fabricator, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll ensure the correct output is achieved to the correct build time and process.
Day to day, you'll be working on damaged Military Vehicles, reupholstering vehicle seats and respraying vehicles. You'll also make boxes for repaired equipment to be shipped out to the UK and Europe.
- Welding (Preparation) - including grinding, sanding and blasting
- Carpentry & Textiles support trades
- Use of solvents and other cleaning agents
- Painting tasks including spraying, patch painting and rolling
- Knowledge of various welding types e.g. mig, tig, arc and oxy acetylene
This is a full time role based on site in Donnington
Essential experience of the Multi Skilled Fabricator:
- Able to follow up on and take responsibility for unresolved issues or escalations
- Able to develop effective relationships internally at a variety of levels
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in Fabrication
- Experience in Welding
Qualifications for the Multi Skilled Fabricator:
- Level 3 NVQ in relevant subject (such as Mechanical/Vehicle Maintenance) or
- Level 2 in Welding
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
