Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance engineer to join this growing food manufacturing business based in Crick, NorthamptonshireMaintaining a mix of machinery from robotics, to heavy mechanical lines this is a great opportunity to work for a company that like to promote from within, so for those looking to further there career there are is a clear progression path.
Working as part of a shift team of 4 you will be responding to break downs limiting downtime and working to a planned maintenance schedule on machinery including conveyors, packaging machinery, mixers, chillers, palletisers to name a few. Working a 4 on 4 off days & nights pattern.
Being commutable from South Leicester, Coventry, Rugby and Daventry this is a great time to join the established maintenance team.
This Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer's role entails:
Provide both a mechanical and electrical repairs and servicing.Updating of the CMMS system, accurately recording spares and ordering where necessary.Ensure engineering downtime is accurately logged, monitor repair and identify new methods or procedures to reduce reoccurring faults.Ensure operating and maintenance manuals, diagnostic instructions and special tools are readily available to all teams.Provide engineering support to production to ensure efficient performance of all equipment.Diagnose electrical and mechanical engineering in order to minimize the impact of plant failure and breakdowns.Train, develop and sign off nominated production staff to allow them to carry out first line maintenance to designated plant & equipment.Ensures a safe working environment exists for ALL employees
Qualifications and Skills required in this Maintenance engineers role:
Recognised electrical or mechanical qualificationsTime Served Apprenticeship or Equivalent Level 33 years minimum of maintenance experienceThe ability to work under your own initiative & with the teamSound communication & training skills
