Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer - Double Days

Location - Kingston upon Hull
Salary - 40K - 42K + Overtime

Shifts - Monday to Friday Double Days (6-2 / 2-10)
Permanent Position

Alecto Recruitment is in partnership with a highly successful Manufacturer based in Kingston Upon Hull, who are actively looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their existing team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on all production equipment to ensure that it is operating safely and efficiently.
• Perform repairs and troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems as needed.
• Collaborate with the production team to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment as required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in FMCG
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills.
• Experience with PLCs
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work on-call and overtime as needed.
