Our client has been operating since 1972 and is one of the UK's leading Recycling & Waste Management Companies. They are passionate about recycling excellence and provide outstanding recycling services to clients across the UK. Our client are currently recruiting for a Fixed Plant Engineer to join their experienced team at their CPF site in Enderby, Leicestershire. You will be ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our client fixed plants. The hours are Monday to Friday with alternate Saturday working.
Your new role
A Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer/Fixed Plant Engineer who will be a part of a close-knit, experienced engineering team. You will be working Monday to Friday mornings/days and an alternate 5 hour Saturday shift. In this role you will carry out scheduled servicing and inspections to a high standard, reactive maintenance and problem-solving, fault diagnosis, welding and fabricating and attend internal and external training.
What you\'ll need to succeed
You will have around 4 years\' experience with heavy machinery. A mechanical bias and experience in a similar industry (recycling, waste management, quarrying etc.) would be preferred. You will also be able to work effectively with others, communicate well, prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently. Suitable candidates must have welding experience, a relevant engineering qualification and a full UK Driving Licence.
What you\'ll get in return
Salary is paid per hour and increases based on tariffs, but typically engineers in this role earn £41,000 and above and can earn more through overtime. You\'ll also receive a generous holiday allowance, a company voucher and discount scheme, company pension and training relevant for the role.
