Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer seeking an exciting opportunity in Girvan? We are currently looking for a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team for a potential temporary to permanent role.
Role Overview: As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment on-site. The role primarily involves dealing with breakdowns, repairs, and maintenance of conveyors. We are seeking candidates with either Mechanical or Electrical expertise, preferably with experience in plant environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on machinery and equipment.
- Handling breakdowns promptly to minimise downtime and ensure continuous production.
- Performing preventive maintenance tasks to prevent future issues.
- Working on conveyors and other equipment as required.
- Adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer, preferably in a plant environment.
- Mechanical or electrical qualifications are essential.
- Ability to handle breakdowns efficiently and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Additional Information: This is a temporary role with the potential for permanent placement based on performance. There is no 'on-call' requirement, and the working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. We are ideally looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
